Tall twining arching shrub or woody vine with pilose stems becomng glabrate. Leaves to 130mm x 45mm with serrate margins, puberulent above & pilose beneath. Axillary & terminal cymose panicles, 4.5mm diameter white to green or pinkish flowers, pistillate heads to 7mm x 3.5mm of 16-25 pistillate ray flowers, corolla to 4.1mm long & 1-4 hermaphrodite disc flowers with corolla 4.8mm long. Staminate heads 7.5mm x 3.5mm with 10-20 hermaphrodite flowers, white or sometimes pinkish corolla to 3.7mm long, 10-21 disc flowers, tube to 2.9mm x limb to 3.6mm. Hispid achenes to 1.7mm long with pappus to 3mm long.
