Sometimes vinelike twining prickly shrub with leaves to 600mm longr, hooked prickles on stems & leaves, leaves pinnate & bipinnate, leaflets coarsely serrated & hairy both surfaces. Terminal or axillary umbels to 55mm of up to 50 flowers. Fruit 6mm diameter.
