Fruiting Times
Sparsely hairy perennial herbaceous twiner with root tubers. Stems to 1.5m. Pinnate leaves with 3 or 5 leaflets, hispid above, glabrous beneath, terminal leaflet to 80mm x 40mm. Axillary 260mm racemes with bracts to 2mm long, 15mm yellowish-green to pale green or purplish flowers. Pale brown glabrous pod to 80mm long x 6mm.
Root tuber a source of starch & alcohol, medicinal uses.
