Perennial herbaceous twining climber to 3m. Tuberous roots to 70mm x 10. Tomentose reddish-brown stem. 3-5 foliolate leaves, mucronate glabrous leaflets, terminal leaflet 100mm x 100mm. 6-22 flowered axillary pseudoracemes, bracts to 3mm & bracteoles to 1.5mm, toothed calyx to 7mm, white corolla to 17mm, standard to 17mm x 16mm, claw to 2.4mm, wings 8mm x 3mm, keel 14mm x 5mm. Glabrous pod to 130mm x 11mm.
