Tree or liana to 30m. Hirsute leaves to 300mm x 300mm. Terminal or pseudo-axillary inflorescence to 50mm long, flower calyx to 21mm high, pink corolla or yellow, darker inside to 28mm long with lobes to 15mm. Berry crowned with persistent calyx, yellowish to orange to 46mm x 20mm.
