Root climbing epiphyte to 1.8m. Leaves to 1070mm wide, 15-20 leaf segments to 600mm x 100mm. Pecent red or wine coloured coriaceous spathe to 400mm x 50mm, spadix purplish to 760mm x 37mm, red-purple fruits

Leaves mashed & juice applied to skin for scalp disease, spike medicinal, animal medicine.
