Fruiting Times
Slender high-climbing herbaceous glabrous twining vine with tuberous roots. Glabrous leaves 80mm x 68mm. Scented aromatic cream or white flowers 2mm x 3.8mm with bractlets 0.8mm long, sepals 1.6mm x 1mm, 6 petals to 2.2mm long x 1mm on long axillary racemes or spikes to 200mm long or terminal pendulous panicles to 500mm long with bracteoles. Fruit a utricle to 1.3mm long with wing 5mm long.
Naturalised
Infusion of leaves used for shampoo. Used for treating inflammation & stop bleeding.
