Tall glabrous woody stem twining liana with brown lenticellate stems. Glabrous coriaceous leaves to 200mm x 75mm. Terminal & axillary panicles or cymes to 250mm x 150mm with bracts, of white or yellowish tubular flowers to 3mm, lobes to 2mm long, 5 sepals 0.8mm long, 5 petals 3mm long, tube 2mm long villous outside. Paired follicles to 160mm x 30mm, black when ripe.
