Liana, tree or climbing shrub with tomentellous branchlets. Leaves to 120mm x 60mm, glabrous above & hirsute beneath. Solitary greenish flowers with bracts to 20mm long, 3 thick white petals to 20mm x 15mm, tomentellous outside. Tomentellous grey or yellow fruit to 50mm x 20mm.
