Liana or tree or scandent shrub to 15m. Tomentose young branches. Leaves to 250mm x 120mm, glabrescent above & tomentose beneath. Creamy-white calyx & corolla, pendent flowers with 3 petals 15mm long. Green grey-hirsute brownish fruit to 50mm x 30mm
