Erect or clambering shrub to 3m with glabrous young stems. Leaves 203mmx 69mm. Axillary flower spikes 2-4 per axil with bracts in 4 ranks, to 10.5mm x 8mm & bracteoles to 6.5mm x 1.2mm, calyx to 8mm with tube to 1.5mm & lobes to 7mm x 1.4mm, creamy-yellow to yellow-green corolla with maroon marking & maroon tinged to 41mm, pubescent outside, upper lip to 25mm. recoiled lower lip to 21mm, lobes to 1.8mm x 1.2mm.
