Clambering shrub to 3.4m, pubescent young stems. Pubescent leaves to 137mm x 29mm. Axillary spikes with pubescent bracts to 11mm x 6mm & bracteoles to 10mm x 4.5mm. Calyx to 11mm with tube to 4mm & lobes to 7mm x 1.5mm, lemon-yellow corolla with darker lower lip, to 45mm long, pubescent outside. Upper lip of corolla to 31mm, lower lip recoiled to 29mm long, corolla lobes to 2mm x 0.5mm. Glabrous capsule to 13mm
