Scandent shrub or liana to 10m with glabrescent stems, sensitive inflorescence acting as tendrils. Glabrous or glabrescent coriaceous leaves 85mm x 32mm. Fragrant white flowers in terminal panicles with tomentose bracts, tomentose calyx to 3mm long, corolla 32mm long with 12mm long red-purple tube & lobes 22mm long with hairy margins. Yellow fruit 40mm diameter.
