Climber to 3m with puberulous stems, sensitive inflorescences acting as tendrils. Coriaceous puberulous leaves to 38mm x 16mm. Terminal panicles of 1-3 flowered cymes, sweet-scented white flowers, calyx 5mm long, corolla with tube to 10mm & lobes to 17mm. Fruit a yellowish berry to 50mm diameter.
