Liana to 30m with hooks. Leaves to 429mm x 51mm. Lax lateral or subterminal panicles with bracts to 3.5mm long. Cream flowers, 5 red-orange sepals to 3mm x 2.1mm, 5 cream petals to 2.5mm x 2.5mm. Nut 6mm x 7mm with 5 longitudinal ridges & persistent sepals.
