Glabrous sapling becoming a liana with hook-bearing lateral branches, adult stems climbing to 20m. Leaves to 120mm x 50mm on main branches, leaves on lateral branches to 331mm x 85mm. Nocturnal flowers faintly scented, pale pink with red-purple margins, cup-shaped, pale yellow-green sepals to 5mm x 4mm, petals pale yellow to 1mm long. Dull dark brown winged fruit to 48mm x 21mm with persistent sepals.
