Glabrous climbing parasite to 5m with lenticellate stems. 3-8 leaves in a whorl, mucronate leaves to 300mm x 150mm. Nodal umbels with bracts to 2.5mm long, red or pinkish flowers to 40mm long, calyx to 13mm long, corolla to 38mm long. Dull purple fruit.
