Epiphytic herbaceous root-climber, stems climning or prostrate. Leaves to 1250mm x 900mm. Erect axillary inflorescence, dull green spathe to 170mm x 120mm turning brownish outside, spadix 150mm long x 20m, yellow florets, mature fruiting head to 250mm long x 40mm. Orange-red berries.
