Tendril climber with 6-angled pubescent branchlets. 2-foliolate leaves with trifid tendrils, leaflets to 80mm x 70mm, pubescent beneath, scabrous above. Few-flowered terminal racemes with bracts to 10mm x 2mm,fragrant white flowers with a yellow centre, yellow stripes in throat, white lobe, calyx to 7mm x 7mm, Corolla to 75mm long, 19mm wide at mouth, corolla tube to 60mm long with lobes to 17mm. Brown woody puberulent capsule to 110mm x 35mm.
