Tendril liana or creeping shrub with striate glabrate branchlets & lenticellate branches, trifid tendrils. Coriaceous glabrous leafleta to 200mm x 100mm. Terminal panicles, thyrses or racemes to 300mm long of fragrant white flowers with calyx to 14mm long, coriaceous white corolla with pale yellow throat to 65mm long, lobes 15m,limb 50mm wide, calyx & corolla densely tomentose. Tomentulose black fruit capsule to 150mm long x 60mm wide
