Branched simple to 15-fid tendril glabrous or pubescent liana or climbing shrub with fibrous bark, hexagonal ribbed striated downy stems. Leaves glabrous above, downy beneath, pilose leaflets to 135mm x 100mm. Terminal & axillary tomentose racemes or corymbs 170mm long of 61mm long with 17mm lobes white flowers with musky odour, aging yellow, with yellow throat with reddish marks in terminal racemes, whitish beneath, tomentulose calyx to 12mm, tomentose white corolla aging yellow to 60mm long, curved corolla tube 60mm x 25mm, limb to 40mm wide, tomentose outside. Brown follicles to 310mm x 75mm, covered in spiny warts, prickles to 4mm long.
