Sometimes leafless herbaceous climber with bluish-green stems, caudex to 3kilogrammes. Simple tendrils. 3-5 lobed glabrescent leaves to 50mm x 10mm. White flowers with fimbriate petals. Male flowers in racemes of 15-20 flowers to 15mm x 5mm. Fruit a berry to 30mm x 20mm.
