Herbaceous liana to 12m woody at base, branches glabrous or hairy. Leaves to 120mm x 100mm, cordate or slightly 3-5 lobed, sparsely pilose on veins on back, margins have obtuse to sharp teeth. Inflorescence to 60mm across with many greenish flowers 3mm across, petals 2.5mm long. Fruit a porcelain-blue berry to 8mm across.
