High-climbing shrub with tomentose young growth. Toothed leaves to 130mm x 90mm, rufo-tomentose above & beneath. Inflorescence to 150mm long with tendrils, flower calyx rufo-tomentose outside, 4 glabrous petals. Fruit dark red berry to 15mm x 10mm.
