Climbing or prostrate tendril vine with glabrous striate stems. Dentate mucronate angulate leaves to 160mm long, somewhat lobed, pubescent above, glabrate beneath. Cymes of brownish to bright scarlet flowers, staminate flowers in dense or large cymes. Bronze fruit to 20mm diameter.
