Climbing vine or woody glabrescent tendril liana. 5-6 leaflets with dentate edges, terminal leaflet 60mm x 30mm, nearly glabrous above, grey-tomentose beneath. Cymes 25mm across, of flowers with crimson buds, 5 lobed webbed calyx 1mm across, 5 petals.
