Sinuately toothed mucronate rufous-hirsute leaves slightly 3-lobed, bifid tendrils, stem, branches, petioles, peduncles covered in bristles. Large lobed leaves. Leaf-opposed clusters or racemes of maroon flowers with putrid smell, glabrous calyx, 4-5 petals. Berries to 8mm
