High-climbing slender woody tendril shrub covered with floccose down. Simple or trifoliolate leaves with crenate-serrate margins, glabrescent above, floccose beneath, mucronate terminal leaflet to 130mm x 75mm , lateral leaflets to 110mm x 80mm. Leaf-opposed many-flowered tomentose umbellate cymes with branched tendrils, flowers with 5-lobed calyx, petals 2mm long. Fruit a globose berry 8mm x 4mm.
