Scandent perennial vine with woody base, pilose stems. Leaves to 70mm x 20mm. Terminal fascicles, blue flowers, ray florets to 20mm x 1.6mm, disc florets with corollas to 8mm & lobes to 0.6mm x 1.1mm. Brownish mottled purple or black achenes to 3mm long.
