Woody vine or scandent shrub with glabescent stems. Glabrescent leaves to 90mm x 45mm. Solitary flowered terminal thyrses with bracts to 2.1mm x 1.5mm, flowers with bracteoles to 2mm x 1.75mm. Flowers 12mm diameter with yellow aging red sepals to 1.5mm x 1.1mm, yellow petals aging red to 4mm x 2mm, claw to 0.75mm x 0.4mm, posterior petals to 1.7mm x 1.5mm. Green to ochre samaras to 8mm x 3.5mm.
