Woody liana to 4m with young parts tomentulose, glabrate branches. Leaves to 150mm x 60mm. Panicles to 300mm long with bracts & bractlets to 5mm long. Yellow flowers, red at base & some red-orange in centre to 20mm wide, yellow petals to 9mm long, claw petals to 1.5mm long. Samaras
