Scrambler or shrub to 3m with twining stems. Rough bark, angled branchlets. Coriaceous glabrous or pubescent leaves to 111mm x 41mm in whorls of 3-4. 12-15 flowered axillary flower spikes or panicles with bracts to 2.6mm x 2.6mm & bracteoles,f 3mm yellow or white flowers, sepals to 2.2mm x 1.2mm, fragrant corolla, white, yellow, brownish or orange, sometimes tinged pink corolla tube to 2.5mm long, corolla lobes white yellow or greenish to 2.5mm x 1.4mm. 10mm long yellow, orange or black glabrous berriesto 13mm x 11mm.
