Slender glabrous woody twining liana, ground creeper or shrub with lenticellate angled stems. Coriaceous mucronate leaves 170mm x 61mm glabrous on both surfaces in whorls of 3-5. Axillary & terminal puberulous cymes to 30mm long wit bracts to 4.5mm x 1.2mm, bracteoles to 1.5mm lengthening to 35mm in fruit, 3-12 yellow-white or yellow-green scented orange-yellow & greenish-white flowers with orange throat, pubescent calyx lobes, 5 sepals to 3.5mm x 1.8mm, 5 petals to 2mm, corolla to 14mm, white, pink, cream, yellow pr orange corolla tube to 15mm x 2mm, lobes to 4mm x 3.1mm. Fruit purple berry or drupe to 25.3mm long x 11.4mm.
