Slender climber or erect shrub with angled lenticellate stems. Coriaceous leaves to 73mm x 12mm in whorls of 3-4. Terminal or axillary cymes to 12mm long with bracts to 2mm x 1mm, usually 4 flowers, sepals to 3mm x 1mm, pubescent calyx lobes, glabrous wh, cream or yellow corolla, tube to 6.5mm x 1.7mm & lobes to 2.6mm x 2.1mm. Black drupe to 10.2mm x 7.7mm
