Climber to 20m with angled lenticellate branches. Leaves to 180mm x 78mm in whorls of 3-4. Axillary inflorescence with bracts to 3mm x 2.2mm of 6-14 flowers, yellow flowers with sepals to 2.7mm x 1.3mm, cream or yellow corolla with brown tube & green or white lobes, tube to 5.8mm x 2mm & lobes to 2.4mm x 3mm. Orange-brown fruit in chains of up to 3, ripening purple-black 34mm x 20mm.
