Lofty woody tendril vine with coriaceous glabrous or puberulent leaves to 170mm x 140mm with tendrils. Axillary racemes terminal panicles to 150mm long, 8mm male flowers, 3-lobed calyx to 8mm wide, red petals to 6mm x 3mm. Female flowers with calyx to 9mm wide, petals to 12mm x 4mm. Brown fruit to 300mm diameter
