Liana, shrub or subshrub with glossy glabrous leaves, hispid beneath becoming glabrescent to 225mm x 70mm. Drooping terminal strigillose cymes to 35mm long of greenish-white flowers to 3mm long, 5-parted calyx, 5 petals. Orange-red coriaceous glabrous drupe to 8mm wide.
