Semi-scandent treelet to 8m or liana with lenticellate tomentose or pubescent branches. Dentate leaves to 260mm x 105mm with crenate margins. Pendulous cauliflorous inflorescence, green or white flowers. Male panicles to 500mm long, flowers with bracteoles to 0.5mm, calyx to 1.5mm, stamens to 1.5mm. Female racemes to 120mm long with bracteoles, calyx to 1.5mm. Purple fruit to 10mm diameter.
