Liana, shrub or low tree with brown tomentose glabrescent branches with lenticels armed with 5mm prickles. Bipinnate leaves with 20-40 pairs of leaflets glabrous above finely villous beneath to 0.8mm x 0.2mm. Terminal or axillary corymbs or panicles 60mm x 30mm of yellowish-brown flowers, puberulous calyx to 1mm with triangular 0.25mm teeth, villous on back, corolla to 5.5mm villous on back, lobes to 2mm long. Glabrous red-brown flat pod 140mm long x 25mm.
