Large glabrescent liane to 15m with mainly glabrous leaves to 320mm x 140mm. Axillary tomentellous fascicles of white to yellow male flowers, outer sepals 1.5mm long, 10mm long calyx creamy white to yellow, 3 fleshy petals 1mm long, female flowers solitary, outer sepals as in male, 6mm long calyx, 6 petals 1mm long. Orange puberulent drupe 38mm x 26mm with a marginal ridge 30mm x 17mm.
