Rhizomatous liane or shrublet with greyish hairs. Mucronulate leaves to 90mm x 50mm, mostly glabrous. Axillary male cymules of 1-3 flowers with bracts to 1.5mm long, male flowers with 6 sepals to 6mm x 3.5mm & 6 petals to 0.5mm x 0.9mm. Solitary female flowers, sepals & petals similar to male. Ferrugineous hairy drupes to 22mm x 15mm.
