Shrub becoming a climber to 15m. Coriaceous glabrous leaves to 250mm x 170mm. Axillary cymes, male inflorescence to 2-5 flowers, female inflorescence of 1-2 flowers. Flower buds yellow-green, reddish at apex. Flowers with 9 sepals in 3 rows, sepals 4mm long, 6 petals. Yellow-orange fruit in infructescences of 4-6 fruits to 30mm x 25mm.
