Large liana with coriaceous leaves to 85mm x 35mm. Terminal umbels of purplish-red flowers with yellow centre, ruffled petal edges, sepals 12mm long, red corolla, tube to 22mm x 1.5mm, lobes to 25mm x 8mm. Glabrous 400mm x 9mm paired pods.
