Large glabrous liana to 12m with coriaceous leaves 100mm x 45mm. Puberulous corymbs with minute bracts, yellow or cream scented flowers, red in throat to 7mm long, calyx 1.5mm long, fragrant corolla, tube 4mm long, lobes 10mm x 4mm. Glabrous fruit dark brown to 750mm long.
