Vine, shrub or tree to 10m. Glabrous coriaceous leaves 150mm x 55mm. Axillary cymes with bracteoles, white fragrant flowers turning yellow 20mm long, green puberulous calyx, greenish-white glabrous corolla with lobes to 9mm long. Fruit a blue-green berry 8mm diameter crowned with persistent calyx.
