Wiry often scandent shrub to 1m. Puberulous stems with reddish hairs. Leaves to 20mm x 18mm with serrulate margins, glabrous or pilose above & pilose on veins beneath. Terminal inflorescence with flower heads 8mm long with about 15 puberulous bracts to 6mm x 1mm with reddish hairs, 30-40 florets per head with whitish corolla to 4.5mm long, tube to 1.5mm & lobes to 0.5mm. Achenes 1.5mm long with pinkish pappus 4.5mm long.
