Scrambling shrub or liane to 40m or tree with puberulous branchlets. Trifoliolate glabrous leaves, terminal leaflet to 260mm x 130mm. Axillary & terminal inflorescences to 150mm long. Perfumed creamy white flowers, sepals 2mm x 1mm, velvety outside, glabrous petals to 5mm x 1.5mm. Knobbly orange-red fruit to 45mm x 28mm.
