Big liana or scrambling shrub densely clothed with fulvous hairs, branches glabrescent. Trifoliolate leaves glabrous above, puberulent beneath to 200mm long, terminal leaflet to 200mm x 100mm. xillary or extra-axillary racemes or panicles to 100mm long subtended by densely yellowish-brown pubescent bracts to 1.5mm long, fragrant pinkish-red flowers, pubescent sepals to 3mm long, petals 2.5mm long, glabrous yellow or white corolla 5mm x 1mm. Tuberculate pubescent follicles to 20mm long, densely red-velvet tomentose beaked capsule 25mm x 12.5mm.
