Large climber or shrub with glabrescent twigs, sometimes dentate coriaceous glabrous leaves to 125mm x 67.5mm. Axillary & terminal pubescent racemes or panicles to 200mm long, whitish flowers blotched purple, sepals to 2mm x 1mm, hairy petals to 9mm x 5mm. Red to brown glabrous 3-valved fruit to 50mm long.
