Very large twining shrub with spometimes lenticellate stems. Glabrous coriaceous leaves to 155mm x 85mm. Lax rusty-tomentose cymes or terminal corymbs 195mm x 200mm with large bracts, of sweetly scented pinkish-white or yellowish flowers with 14mm long corolla tube with tomentose lobes 23mm x 11.5mm, calyx & corolla downy outside, calyx lobes to 25mm long.
